Xbox Game Pass: Flight Simulator and Resident Evil 7 are coming, Red Dead Redemption 2 is leaving

Microsoft announces the arrivals and departures of Xbox Game Pass. Many games will be made available to subscribers in the coming weeks, such as Wastland 3, Resident Evil HD and especially Flight Simulator, the latest flight simulator created by Microsoft. Red Dead Redemption 2, NBA 2K20 and Metro Last Light Redux will be coming soon.

Microsoft adds new games to its Xbox Game Pass offer regularly. Earlier this month, we reported the arrival in the service catalog of Darksiders Genesis and Final Fantasy VII HD. Today, Microsoft is unveiling a bunch of new features scheduled between August 20, which is today, and September 3.

Available now, you will find Microsoft Flight Simulator, the latest pilot simulation game from the Redmond firm. We have talked about it extensively in our columns. The game goes on sale this week and is available from day one on Xbox Game Pass. It was a promise from the American giant. Also on offer today is the excellent Spiritfarer. It’s a great adventure full of action, magic and poetry. It is available on console and PC.

A dozen new features on the way

Another game available today, Darksiders Genesis on PC (it was only offered on console previously), Crossing Souls on PC (half Soobydoo pixel art adventure game, half Maniac Mansion), Don’t Starve: Giant Edition on PC and console (the improved version of the indie hit) and Battletoads on PC and console (excellent remake of the 90s beat’em all).

Tomorrow, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can try New Super Lucky’s Tale on PC and console. It’s a nifty 3D platform game in the vein of Conkers, Sonic Adventures and Banjoo and Kazooie. Then, next week, Hypnospace Outlaw and Tell my Why will hit PC and console. The former is a visual experience that will remind some of 1980s computing. the latest is an adventure game from the creators of Life is Strange.

On August 28, two more games will arrive: Double Kick Heroes, an original pixel art game that mixes hard rock, shoot’em up and rhythmic play, and Wasteland 3, an excellent tactical RPG from InXile Entertainment very inspired by XCOM. They will both be available on PC and console. Finally, two games will arrive at the start of September: the historic strategy game Crusader Kings 3 (for PC only) on September 1 and Resident Evil 7 (PC and console), the latest installment in Capcom’s saga, on September 3. Ideal for preparing for the arrival of Resident Evil Village.
