OPPO officially unveils a phone with an expandable screen

As announced, Oppo today held its Oppo Inno Day in its second edition today Tuesday, an event in which the Chinese company conceptually unveils products, and it could be launched later as products available to the general public.
At the Oppo Inno Day 2020 event, Oppo focused on unveiling a smartphone with an expandable screen, in addition to new glasses that support augmented reality technology.
The company explained that its Oppo X 2021 concept phone is the result of its research and development of flexible displays. The phone uses a 6.7 inch rectangular OLED display in its regular form, but after expansion, it becomes square and tablet-like shape, measuring 7.4 inches.
Oppo claims to have developed the powertrain, structural plate and screen protector of the phone to ensure the durability of the device.
It is reported that Oppo is not the first to unveil a phone with an expandable screen, as TCL announced a similar prototype last year, however, the TCL phone did not work, as the screen was a paper. As for Oppo, it is one of the leading companies in the smartphone industry, and it has already released smartphones with engine designs, such as: the Oppo Find X phone.
In addition to the Oppo X 2021 concept phone, Oppo unveiled the Oppo AR Glass 2021 augmented reality glasses, which is the Chinese company’s latest step in the field of wearable devices that support augmented reality technology.
